Tracy Aviary Bird Pond Exhibit, Salt Lake City, Utah

This project is a renovation for the Wilson Pavilion at the Tracy Aviary.  The octagonal exhibit consists of 6 separate sections housing several different species of birds.  The project consists of 7 different sized pools created to mimic natural stone ponds, sloping from 0” to 12” with various slopes.  The pools are designed to be drained and cleaned daily, with interior finishes to match the surrounding landscape.  The cornerstone of the exhibit is the Ibis section which houses the 2 largest ponds to house the Aviary’s collection of Ibis birds.
