West Valley Plaza Interactive Water Feature, West Valley City, Utah
The West Valley Plaza Interactive Water Feature is the focal point of the newly renovated area around West Valley City Hall. This feature creates a unique gathering place for city and community events. The feature “stage” has a sweeping steps where water flows from basins below each riser creating thin sheets of water that seem to begin from nowhere and disappear below. The bottom step is surrounded by 7 directional water jets that provide an interactive, vertical display. The stage cleverly serves as camouflage for the feature equipment vaults hidden below.
