JL Sorenson Recreation Center (SouthWest Rec)Date: 7/1/2009 Indoor Myrtha technology, 8-lane, ADA accessible competition pool with 1 and 3 meter diving boards, and a 6,245 square foot Myrtha technology, ADA accessible, padded zero entry leisure pool with large play structure featuring a large dumping bucket, children’s frog slide, bubblers and tricky bells feature. The leisure pool also boasts a lazy river, vortex pool, large water slide and 3 lap lanes with a lily pad water walk. |

Cedar City Recreation CenterDate: 7/1/2009Indoor, Myrtha technology, 8-lane competition pool, and an 11,193 sq ft, Myrtha technology indoor zero entry leisure pool with lazy river, toddler area, with several spray toys, custom climbing features, large waterslide. The outdoor teen activity pool, also constructed with Myrtha technology, has 1 and 3 meter diving boards and a “conversation area” with deck sprays. The project is completed with an indoor Myrtha technology spa with perimeter seating and multiple hydrotherapy jets. |

Northwest Community CenterDate: 5/1/2008When the Northwest Recreation Center started showing signs of its age, Salt Lake County decided to use a combination of ZAP tax dollars and other funding to build a new facility. The entire project was a LEED’s Gold certified, and much of the material produced from the demolition were either re-used or recycled. Along with the LEED’s rating, the pool was designed with the environment in mind- the filters use alternative filtration methods that allow for minimal water consumption. The facility has a Myrtha technology eight lane by 25 yard competition pool with 2 ADA accessible entries. The leisure pool is also a Myrtha technology system with a large waterslide, zero entry, ADA accessible ramp and a children ‘frog slide’ surrounded with floor bubblers. The pool also has a large lazy river with an integrated vortex pool. The ADA compliant elevated play structure completes this pool, and provides play opportunities for all guests. |

Southgate City PoolDate: 4/1/2008When the city of South Gate, California discovered its existing 50 meter pool leaking, a renovation plan was presented. The plan included the removal of the old pool and its components and the addition of a brand new state of the art stainless steel pool. The new pool was designed to accommodate competitive swimming and diving, and provide a large shallow end for the neighboring community to utilize as well. The pool includes both 1 meter and 3 meter diving boards, a moveable bulkhead that allows for 25 yard and 25 meter competition course, an ADA accessible ramp, and a large stair area perfect for instruction and play. Emery County PoolDate: 6/1/2007This Recreation center serves a large community and accommodates a variety of uses and ages. The Indoor pool is constructed of Myrtha, PVC laminated stainless steel. It features a 75 ft long competition area with six lap lanes, and a 1 meter diving board with a 12ft deep diving well. The outdoor pool is also constructed of PVC laminated stainless steel, featuring a padded zero entry and a large interactive play structure with slides, sprays and geysers. The pool is completed with a bubble couch, current channel and various water spray features. A tall waterslide feature will entice the more adventurous users to a new level of fun.  View More Photo's

Washington City Recreation CenterDate: 4/1/20078-lane, Myrtha technology competition pool, a 10,174 sq ft indoor/outdoor Myrtha technology padded zero depth entry leisure pool with several toys, a lazy river that begins inside, travels outside, and finishes inside. There is a defined toddler area complete with a desert themed children’s slide. The leisure pool also has a large slide, vortex pool and bubble couch.
