Marriott's Timber Logde Splash Pad, Lake Tahoe, California
This project was the conversion of the Timber Lodge's wading pool to a splash pad. The unique design included leaving the wading pool below the splash pad to act as the water balaning tank. The splash pad has a "false floor" that suspended over the wading pool below. The splash pad includes a "rain deck" deck level spray installation. There are 6 outside nozzles and 3 interior nozzles. The splash pad surface is in the shape of a bear claw, creating a whimsical look for guests.
